HLTAID011 – Provide First Aid

• Accredited training delivered by GROW Foundations and taught by healthcare professionals with a boutique, real-world approach.
• Certificate valid for 3 years (CPR certification required annually)

Training Content:

• CPR (HLTAID009) + AED use
• Managing wounds, burns, fractures, and bleeding
• Responding to asthma, anaphylaxis, seizures, diabetes, and more
• Reporting and legal considerations

Course Format:

• Online theory completed before the day + 3 hour face-to-face (9-12pm) OR
• Full day face to face (9-4pm)

What to bring: 

To help you get the most out of your First Aid training, please bring:

• ✅ Photo ID: This is required to verify your enrolment in a nationally recognised course.
• ✅ Comfortable clothing: There will be hands-on activities, including CPR practice on the floor -  so wear something you can move in.
• ✅ Water bottle + snack: We’ll have breaks during the session, and you’re welcome to bring tea, coffee, or something to eat.
• ✅ Any pre-course workbook or online assessment: If you’ve been given a pre-course task (for blended delivery), make sure it’s completed and ready to submit.
• ✅ Pen + notebook: (optional) We provide training materials, but you’re welcome to take notes if you’d like.
